BEYROUTH 2009

Every four years, over 3,000 athletes and artists hailing from more than 50 francophone countries come together for les Jeux de la Francophonie. In 2009, Beirut hosted the games. MC2 produced 10 documentary portraits of Canadians who were preparing to compete at this incredible event.
MC2 also created a website allowing viewers to experience the games live from the comfort of their homes. A production team was stationed in Beirut, shooting and editing daily short films and publishing photos and stories, granting TV5‘s viewing public an all-access pass to the games.
